My Story
About the Photographer
I was born and raised in the Metro Atlanta area, where my love of photography began at the age of five when I received my first camera—a Kodak Brownie. I took pictures whenever I had the time and enough film in my allowance to afford it.
Eventually, I graduated to a hand-me-down Yashica J-5 equipped with both telephoto and wide-angle lenses, which felt incredibly fancy at the time. That camera accompanied me on countless family adventures and helped nurture a lifelong passion for capturing the world around me.
Growing up, I was also a dancer, an experience that ultimately led me to perform at the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom. My years in dance taught me how movement tells a story, how to recognize genuine expression, and how to anticipate the perfect moment. Those lessons continue to shape my work as a photographer today, allowing me to create images that feel both natural and full of life.
As my passion for photography grew, so did my desire to continually improve my craft. The Professional Photographers of America (PPA) has provided both the education and the structure that challenged me to grow technically and artistically. After years of study, practice, and image competition, I am incredibly proud to have earned the Master of Photography (M.Photog.) degree.
Today, I have the privilege of combining two lifelong passions—dance and photography. Whether I'm photographing dancers, actors, professionals, or families, I strive to create images that are authentic, expressive, and uniquely you. My background as a performer helps me coach posing, recognize beautiful lines and movement, and capture genuine emotion at just the right moment. If you're ready to create portraits that tell your story and celebrate who you are, I'd love to welcome you to my studio and create something extraordinary together.

Welcome to your customized photography journey!
Once we connect, we'll select a date for your session and arrange a consultation via Zoom. In this meeting we’ll cover the location, desired vibe, and plan hair, makeup, and wardrobe to ensure you feel completely ready.
On the day of your session, you'll be greeted warmly as you settle in and unpack your wardrobe options in a private changing area. Our photography space is designed with your safety in mind, featuring studio-quality marley laid over a wooden floor for optimal comfort. We will begin with small movements to gently warm up your body. As you feel more comfortable and ready, we’ll progress to larger movements and jumps. This gradual approach ensures you build strength and confidence safely.
Your images will be reviewed in real time as they are captured, providing you with valuable feedback to enhance your technique. This process also allows you to select your favorite images on the spot. By the end of your session, you'll leave the studio feeling confident with a stunning collection of photos.
After your session, your photographs will be carefully enhanced to optimize exposure, color, and background cleanliness. Minor adjustments, such as blemish removal, will be made, but your actual dance form and technique will remain unedited. The completed images will be delivered in a digital gallery, allowing you to easily download them for applications or social media. You also have the option to purchase prints directly from your gallery for a tangible keepsake.
